Congratulations to Tirunelveli City Corporation for being selected under Smart City Mission. The city has been trifurcated in to four administrative provinces such as Tirunelveli, Palayamkottai and Melapalayam, Thatchanallur. Tiruneveli has two tier flyover called the Tiruvalluvar Flyover, which is the second longest double-decked flyover in Asia. I would want everyone to know the developments which are planned and being executed for the Tirunelveli Smart city under various verticals.

          *  Improvement of existing compost yard at Ramayanpatti & Bio-Mining at Ramayanpatti
          *  Construction of Truck Terminal & Solar roof top
          *  Development of Smart Streets
          *  Installation of Traffic Signages with IoT
          *  Integrated SCADA based Water Supply System
          *  Modernization of Junction bus stand, New Bus stand, Palayamkottai Bus stand
          *  Construction of Multi level Two Wheeler parking
          *  Development of Trade centre & Many more to add...
ICT based infrastructure developments will lead the city into more sustainable, greater environment and technology adapted place in near future.
